Side wind

Dancing side by side with the sea is getting a bit old. Since we have left to sail across the Atlantic, we hardly find a moment to go outside without getting drentched by waves hitting the side of the boat. For 8 days, everytime we try to eat something and the fork gets close to our lips, the food all of a sudden flies up in the air, flips a few times and lands on the seat in front of us. It is also improssible to open windows creating a very warm amd stinky climate inside the boat.
However, Gaston, the genius, found a way to block some of the water from coming inside the boat from the Dorade giving us a bit of breathable air. He's also enjoys the fact that he doesn't have to do anything to drink his beer since gravity takes care of everything. A shower is also taken very quickly; just open the hatch, wait for the next wave and your done. We are however still waiting for the fish to jump in the cockpit by themselves.
Today, we are at 403 nm from the Azores. We have traveled 146 nm since yesterday, our speed is 6.5kn, heading 115°, winds 20 knots SSW. The main sail his reduced buy 2/3. The cold front came buy in the wee hours of the morning with winds of up to 30 knots and some thunderstoms wich passed mostly in back of us. Now the clouds our moving out leaving it to the sun to take over.
Note that the moral on board is actually great and that we are happy to have all this wind. Our friend Daniel his having some issues with is reutor which will delay is arrival to the Azores where Gaston will be waiting to help if required.
