Nous sommes sortis du passage Mayaguna en fin de journée laissant les Bahamas dernière nous. Fini le stress des obstacles, nous voguons désormais sur l'Atlantique Nord. Pour un bateau qui ne devait pas faire un bon près, Belle Ourse a bien réussi à remonter la mer des Caraïbes. Le vent d'est devrait finir par tourner plus au sud nous permettant d'ouvrir et nous diriger vers les Bermudes. Nous avons aussi moins de broue dans le toupet car il est passé de 20-25 noeuds à 15 noeuds. La tendance continue vers la diminution pour les prochains jours selon les fichiers météo. Hâte au retour de la lune malgré le ciel étoilé. C'est toujours plus beau quand elle nous éclaire.

We have passed the Mayaguna passage close to sundown leaving the Bahamas behind. The stress level went down now that we are sailing in the North Atlantic away from all obstacles. For a boat that is not known to be good at sailing upwind, Belle Ourse did a pretty good job of sailing up the Carribean sea. The East winds have started to turn south which will help opening up the sails as we head for Bermuda. We also have less of it as it went from 20-25 knots down to 15 knots this afternoon. The tendency if for the winds to keep decreasing over the next few days according to the weather files. Can't wait to see the new moon come out even if the sky is sparkling with stars. It always nicer when she shines her light on us.
