Le vent c'est levé graduellement ce matin pour atteindre les 20-25 noeuds en avant-midi et se calmer de nouveau en début de soirée à 10-15 noeuds du SO. Nous capons vers le nord avec un léger angle vers l'est à une vitesse de 7-8 noeuds au génois seulement. Pour la première fois les fichiers météo ne représentaient pas bien ce qui se passait. C'est comme si la réalité a devancé les prédictions. La houle est disproportionnelle au vent i.e. nous avions une très grosse houle pour le temps. On c'est fait brasser toute la journée mais, nous avons fait beaucoup de chemin. D'ailleurs, c'est notre dernière fin de semaine en mer. Ça commence à sentir la terre. Par ailleurs, le fait d'avoir dormi sans faire de quart la nuit dernière nous a fait perdre l'habitude et donc nous avons mal dormi cette nuit. Hâte que mon quart se termine car j'ai le cerveau en bouilli.

The wind came up gradually this morning to reach 20-25 knots by mid-morning and calmed down again to 10-15 knots early in the evening from the SW. We are heading north with a bit of easterly angle at a speed of 7-8 knots using only the geneker. For the first time the gribs where not accurate. It seems that reality happened faster than the predictions. The sea is disproportional to the wind i.e. big sea for little wind. We have been tossed around all day but we have covered many miles. This should be our last weekend at sea. We are starting to smell land. However, not having followed our shifts last night has made us loose the habit and we didn't sleep well this night. Can't wait for my shift to end because my brain is having a melt down.
