Prise 2 d'une journée sans trop de vent. Nous avons quand même bien avancé au largue avec génois et artimon à 4-5 nœuds de moyenne toute la journée mais, à la tombée de la nuit, le vent nous a encore lâché. Nous avons mis à la cape et avons été nous coucher. Pas le moindre cargo en vue. La pétole fait partie de l'expérience. On gère ce que mère nature nous envoie. J'en ai profité pour laver les planchers pour enlever le sel des embruns accumulé pendant que nous remontions au vent. De plus, ça nous permet de prendre un petit apéro du vendredi soir. Seul soir ou l'on se permet un petit verre de vin. Suivi d'une petite pratique de musique. N'ayant pas de voisin, nous pouvons nous permettre de faire beaucoup de bruit. Nous avons été chanceux pour la pluie jusqu'à maintenant. Seulement une ou deux petites averses. Par ailleurs, le soleil se lèves dans un ciel beaucoup plus nuageux ce matin. Belle Ourse vas possiblement avoir droit à un rinçage. Nous attendons toujours le retour du vent.

Another day without much wind. We manage to move at 4-5 knots using the geneker and the misen sail in wide reach all day but at sundown, the wind died on us again. We heaved to and went to bed. There isn't any trafic in sight. Moments without any wind is part of the experience. We deal with whatever mother nature sends our way. Took advantage of the calm to wash the floors which had been salted when we where going upwind. It's also convenient for Friday night happy hour. The only night were we allow ourselfs a glass of wine. Followed by an hour of music practice. Not having any neighbours to bother let's us really belt it out. We haven't had much rain so far. One our two small rainfalls since the start but looking at the sky this morning, Belle Ourse might get a rincing. At this time, there is still no wind.
